Andy is a 1992 graduate of Sandusky High School, a 1996 graduate of Terra
Community College (Fremont, OH), and a 2003 graduate of Bowling Green State University. Andy is employed as a full-time faculty member at Terra Community College where he teaches various
mechanical engineering courses. This recent move was preceded by his 12 years of private industry experience
and has allowed him to share his knowledge of product design and manufacturing with students that are eager to learn.
Andy has found teaching to be a very rewarding career. Family values are very important
to Andy. He enjoys racing with his father. Andy also enjoys spending time with his mother whenever he can since she recently
moved home from the Phoenix, AZ area. Andy has been married to his wife April for 6 years and together they have two sons,
Austin and Logan. Austin is 5 years old and is crazy about John Deere tractors and says he wants to
be a farmer. Logan is 2 years old. He looks a lot like his older brother but definitely
has his own personality.
Andy’s educational background
and occupational experience have given him a strong foundation for his racing career. He understands that it is a priveledge
to be a race car driver and that many children look to him as a role model. Regardless of the days outcome, Andy conducts
himself as a professional.
